PERVERT COP GETS 4 YEARS

A perv cop convicted of sexually assaulting two women while in uniform was sentenced to four years in prison yesterday, with a judge saying that he used "the power of his office to obtain sexual gratification."
Fernand Clerge, 40, had faced up to seven years behind bars for his crimes, which included unwanted sexual advances against two women on two separate occasions while armed and in uniform.
One of his victims, a 37-year-old waitress, testified at trial that Clerge and his partner followed her home after a routine traffic stop and tried to force her to perform oral sex on him.
Clerge was convicted on Sept. 17 of sexual abuse and official misconduct. One of the misconduct charges stemmed from a sexually invasive search he performed on a 21-year-old woman while responding to a noise complaint.
